Three little...
- From the manual, I read about the dioptric adjustment knob and how the shutter button has two functions. If you press it halfway, you will activate autofocusing and automatic exposure metering. I had no idea about this until Rob told me about this during his trip to LA, but I had forgotten what the purpose was. Another feature...the main dial. I was doing it the long way and going into the menu when you can easily adjust the ISO, AF mode and point with the main dial and viewfinder!
- Holy heezy! I didn't look for an internet resource today but I was so excited to find that my new iphone has a 365 app! SO I'll be doing a double 365! I also downloaded several other photography apps that I know I'll love! In the meantime, I think I'll be getting The Best Camera app too!

El empiezo
Welcome to our photo blog! I will be photo blogging along with Robert trying to complete the 365 challenge.
How it started:
Back in september of 09' I was reading somewhere on the net about photography when I ran into Tasra's 365 Challenge blog and I fell in love with the idea of challenging myself to start one. I had a small Canon but was in the midst of getting a Canon 7d so I went ahead and completed about 13 days but then I fell off the wagon.
.
Now I have my Canon 7D and I'm finishing what I started! You can see some of my past ones here. Now I wasn't sure if I should continue from the day I left off or start anew, but I think I'm starting from Day One!
Just for your info, here are the suggestions Tasra has made:
DAY ONE:
We had a visitor from a friend formerly known as Ginger. I love her to death and well, I could just eat her up!
I love this post by Brian Palmer and his "dock" theory. More inspiration!
In the manual, p. 23 shows you how to place your strap on the camera. Mine are on wrong. Haha, I'm serious! Off to fix I go, see ya'll tomorrow! Short post on this New Year's Day...promise I'll get better as we go!

Just for your info, here are the suggestions Tasra has made:
- Take at least 1 photo every day.
- Read at least 1 page in my camera manual every day.
- View other professional images every day.
